On November 28, under the elaborate arrangement by Guangbo Group, Bayi Guangbo women basketball team went to Zhengshi middle school, located in Hengxi, Yinzhou, having a friendly game with men's basketball team there. Professional player against the students, men's team VS women's team, unfettered competition form added a casual color for the women's basketball team trip.

The campus stars look forward to play the league

When women's basketball team girls with the common height of 190cm arrived in Zhengshi middle school, the crowded basketball hall immediately sent oohs and ahhs. This friendly game is split into two halves. GUangbo team sent the predominantly young players in the starting line-up. Zhengshi school team, which is the home team, although most of them are wearing glasses, they still play actively. The students on-the-spot are busy as bees. Not only have to cheer for the school team, but ask for photos and signatures from the stars like Liu Yudong, Li Ke, Chen Nan, Luwen and Sun Mengran. School team players feel the happiest, because they can play with professional athletes with national level.

Ren Hao, third-year senior high schoolstudent, is the team captain. He fell in love with the basketball for many years. “In the past, I watched the game in Youngor stadium, and had a close contact with Da Zhi during the midfield interaction.” Ren Hao said. Now this is the first time to play with basketball stars. “I feel a little nervous.” He is a special enrolled student with basketball skills. And he will still continue to play basketball at university. “If I have a chance to hit CUBA league in the future, it will be very nice”. Another special enrolled student with basketball skills Yu Qianhang, he is still buzzing after the game. “Actually everybody is a bit closed in today, after all, fear of injury”.

Five or six years ago, under the lead of coach Jiang Nianjun, Zhengshi middle school basketball team used to play with Bayi men’s basketball substitutes in Zhongshan square. “There will always be many children love basketball in the school.”

     Doing public welfare is the tradition of the team

 “In Yinzhou we always can see signs such as welcome home. We feel quite intimate and really have the feeling of going home.” Bayi women basketball commissar Liu Beiyan said, this is a kind of feelings. So in addition to play bayi team spirit race to the top in the game, everyone is willing to do something for family within their capabilities.

Zhengshi middle school is one of the oldest middle schools in Ningbo. As the provincial key middle school, the school is also good in sports. Their basketball team has won success in Yinzhou district and Ningbo city middle school students competitions. Yesterday, the school men’s team played with Bayi Guangbo team. They kept the lead for a time, forcing key players Zhang Liting and Wang Xuemeng out from the bench. Although they lost the game with 6 points, these senior high school students’ performance was praised by the professional players. “We aren’t expecting their shooting so great”, said Zhang Liting.

Guangbo team has participated in different public welfare activities over these years. The players have experienced different positions like taking part in planting trees, sending love to nursing home, being the temporary volunteers at the library, granting for the migrant school student, interacting with the fire fighters…
