To meet the 23rd national fire day, further create a safe atmosphere of “everyone pay attention to fire protection, build peace and harmonious”. Recently, Guangbo Group carried out series of fire safety activities like safety training, safety knowledge contest, emergency evacuation drills and fire safety skills competition.

To let everyone intuitively feel emergency evacuation procedures, the company organized all the trainees to have the competition of the scene of the fire simulation evacuation and fire fighting operation. At the drill site of accessories workshop, when thick yellow smoke drifts on the ground floor, after hearing simulated fire signal, all staff evacuated from the second floor to the first floor rapidly and orderly.

Fire safety skills competition is arranged at the last link of this activity, which is the most wonderful part. This skills competition includes the use of fire extinguishers and fire hose, simulate fire scene extinguishing demonstration. The rule of the competition is two people using  dry powder fire extinguisher to put out the fire, and two people connecting two water fire hose to put out the fire. That is, each team has four people. Two people use two 4kg dry powder fire extinguishers to put out the fire, then immediately take two water fire hoses, and hand them to the other two team members. Till connecting the water hose, open the water plug to put out the fire. The winner is the one using the shortest time. The competition was conducted with branch and sub plant as the unit. Nine teams joined this competition. The competition was directed by economic police and leaders of security office, who were also the referees.

The competition was full of the fighting spirit of chasing each other.The players cooperate tacitly, act fast and smoothly. Extinguish the fire accurately and efficiently.Spectators cheered, and the atmosphere was warm and nervous.

Through over one hour’s tense and fierce competition, finally, printing sub plant, industrial sub plant and paper products no.2 sub plant won the top three for groups, with their excellent results of safety knowledge competition and scene simulation.
