Model workers are the models of the time, also the benchmark from all walks of life. On the afternoon of April 15, Ningbo first model worker theme forum was held in Nan Yuan Hotel. About 200 model worker delegates from all walks of life gathered and talked about their working experience and vision imagine. Hu Jianyue, vice-chairman of the Municipal PCC and chairman of municipal federation of trade unions, attended and delivered the speech.

Guangbo Group President Wang Liping indicated at the meeting, at the opening year of 12th Five-Year, municipal party committee and government proposed accomplishing “six speeds-up”. So what can model workers do and what to do? That’s the question model workers need to consider above all. As a model worker delegate from business world, he thinks the power of example is endless. In achieving the process of “six speeds-up” throughout the city, model workers should base on own job, be brave in innovation, dare to undertake, realize enterprise transformation and upgrading as soon as possible and help all employees innovation and development.

In Guangbo, in order to better carry out the spirit of model worker, the company search for innovation talent from the front line, develop “talent” effect. Through promoting some talents with creative thinking in the aspects of technology, process and idea, lead all teams, sub plants to innovate constantly. 

For example, the director of exquisite books sub plant, he used to be an ordinary worker when he came to the company. However, in combination with practice, he did technical innovation research, in order to solve the problem of producing too much waste during making inner pages of the album. He changed the album inner page into smooth edge. This small change can save the company’s production cost of about 0.4 million yuan every year. Such a talent, the company promoted him from the production front line to become the team leader, director of the workshop, later the director of sub plant.
