On the morning of December 19, Guangbo held an emergency meeting to ban smoking.  The standing deputy general manager Dai Guoping made deploy and arrangement on ban-smoking and fire prevention work. Shu Yaoping presided over the meeting and gave the important speech. Person in charge of each sub plant, company and department attended the meeting and signed the letter of commitment.

On November 15, a fire accident occurred in a high building in Shanghai.Up to now, 58 people were killed and dozens of people were wounded. An initial investigation showed the accident was caused by welder's illegal operation who is unlicensed.

After the accident, President and General Manager paid high attention, require Guangbo each unit learn a lesson, resolutely put an end to this kind of accident. Require department heads sign military order with the company, promise non-smoking, not take flame to the factory, no illegal operations.  

Dai Guoping emphasized at the meeting, firstly, definitely forbid employees take flame to the factory, once discovered, should punish severely according to the company system. Secondly, should strengthen night shift duty system, for those who leave his post, should look into the responsibility of the leaders. Thirdly, security department, front line staff and directors should carry out three levels of networking, mass prevention, resolutely prevent fire accidents.       

Shu Yaoping emphasized at the meeting, middle-level cadres should convey the spirit of the meeting to each employee at the basic level, should clarify the responsibilities, mass prevent, never allow the recurrence of such incidents.
