“Ode to the Motherland” made the opening of our district to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of new China and opening ceremony of the second mass cultural art festival large-scale entertainment evening party “We’re walking on the broad way”. Last night, about ten amateur team sang the moving melody in praise of our great motherland in the district Culture and Art Center, showing our district mass culture’s charm. District party committee member, propaganda department minister Wang Haijuan, deputy director of the NPC Standing Committee Gao Qianghua, deputy district head Xia Suzhen and vice-chairman of district CPPCC Zhu Guofu watched the entertainment evening party.

After the overture, chorus “red sun, chairman Mao the dearest” started the first chapter of the party “the road to renaissance”. The red melody refreshed the unforgettable memory in people's mind. Repeated singing the old songs brought the passionate emotion. Then, programs like wind ensemble reflected the great motherland’s glorious course since it was established. The party’s main parts had three chapters, “the road to renaissance”, “the road to opening up” and “the road to harmonious”, with singing and dancing as the main way of performance. Chorus and group singing "Spring's Story", “in the golden sunlight”, “national anthem sounded” and so on, eulogized the great motherland 60-year’s great achievements. Meanwhile, it showed our district people’s united and hard-working mental outlook in the past 60 years.

Showing Yinzhou mass literature’s elegant demeanour is the party’s another highlight. In recent years, some exquisite arts created by our district’s mass literature team also appeared on yesterday’s stage, such as children’s dancing “Bang bang bang”, showing the children’s naive lively and funny. Dancing “Hua Die” and female’s singing “Lin xiang nv” highlighted the characteristic of Jiangnan’s pure and fresh beautiful. Programs like male’s group singing which just won the national “Five One Project” award and line dance also won a great applause.

The current session of mass cultural arts festival will continue until October 31, with the theme of harmonious Yinzhou, colorful music movement, having four chapters. The first chapter of the opening ceremony party is “glorious symphony”. The second chapter is “march of time --- displaying the theme of culture”, including painting, calligraphy and photography contest, intangible cultural heritage tour, red classic movie screening. The third chapter is “life concerto---assembling mass cultural activity”, merging “everyday show”, Shaoxing opera singsing and grassroots cultural activity that developed widely in each town and village together. The fourth chapter is “joy sonata”. For the closing ceremony of second mass cultural arts festival and Yinzhou folk literature and art parade, about 30 art propaganda teams and 2000 people will join the parade and perform, creating the arts festival into the art gathering of all people.  (select from Yinzhou Daily)
